How will I get paid for my college book / used textbook?
When we receive your books, a payment will be issued. Payment in the form of a check will be mailed to you no later than the next business day. Remember to buy a textbook used from bookbyte.com, and you will save time and money.
What if my college textbook doesn't show up on your buyback list?
We only buy textbooks that have a resale value, preventing us from buying every textbook that has been printed. We cannot buy your used textbook if it doesn't show up on our list. We greatly appreciate your only sending the new or used textbooks that have been authorized through the Bookbyte website.
What is the difference between new and used textbooks?
The duration of time you have owned your used textbooks has little to do with the grade, or the quality of the textbooks. The factor that is most relevant is how your textbooks arrive at our facility. Bookbyte.com makes every effort to grade as many textbooks as possible as new! Bookbyte grades most textbooks as used because a book must be in perfect condition to be considered new. Perfect condition is determined by your book arriving with no writing, an unbroken spine, no torn pages, no dented or bent corners, no highlighting, and zero damage to the outside or inside of the textbook whatsoever. Please remember to carefully pack your books when sending them to us and avoid Bookbyte grading your next textbook used. A sturdy box often makes the difference in how your book is rated and how much money you receive after we buy your textbooks.
